innovative company based in Strasburg that is specialized in the field of Medical Instrumentation, Eurorad has built a detection probe as well as a gamma probe for per-operative lymph node detection, and specialises in
the development of semiconductor materials together with their purification and characterization. Based on these materials Eurorad produces portable testing devices such as radiation detectors of different types in
particular Cadmium Telluride (CdTe) or Cadmium Zinc Telluride (CdZnTe) sensors. These systems require electronics and detectors miniaturisation as well as intrinsic qualities of the detectors: EURORAD is at present the
only European company able to produce these materials and one of the world leaders in this domain. The company is therefore fully conversant in meeting the stringent requirements of electronic medical instrumentation,
and general CE regulations & standards and is ISO 9002 certified. Of particular importance to the project is the company's expertise in probe design and electronic signal processing hardware such as the production
of bespoke preamplifier chips, and signal shaping amplifiers and signal filtering and discriminator circuits. This background and experience will allow the company to assist in the prototype build in WP7, particularly
